Selecting the settings

You can pre-select various basic settings
for all applications of the Traffic Assist.

ther selections.

lected from the setting menu.

Selection possibilities
The desired selection is chosen by pushing
the desired button. The funtionality of
the buttons varies according to the selec-
tion and is described under "The individ-
ual menu points" on page 81.

Closing the setting menu
The setting menu is closed by pushing the
back button, and the main menu then ap-
pears.

Energy

Your Traffic Assist may be operated using
an external power supply unit or using an
integrated rechargeable battery.

The energy supply and its condition is vis-
ualised using the status display.

Displaying the energy supply
The status display can be called up using
the following button.

Note:
The current charge condition is particu-
larly important when operating from bat-
teries. If there is insufficient energy, then
the navigational aid cannot be main-
tained until the destination is reached,
for example.
