For Code 128, the Mod check character is displayed as the symbology’s character value (a
number from 000 to 102). One or two numeric Mod check characters may precede the 3-
digit Code 128 Mod check described above. These digits represent the Mod 10 check
character(s) that might be included, depending on the format.

Code 93 will display 2 Mod check characters. See Appendix B for Code 93 character
representations.

Symbology type is indicated on the top row and the analysis overview on the bottom row.

Note: A database message screen may be displayed, if database is enabled. The screen displayed will be

the first screen shown on the next analysis. This allows you to “program” the first screen to be dis-
played. If the database is disabled, only the Pass/Fail Analysis screen will display. If the database
function is enabled, but the data scanned is not found, the following database message will display:

“Data Base Record

Does Not Exist”
