Service management
With its modular structure, IMC serves as a scalable network
management platform that provides various service components and
network management solutions.
IMC contains built-in service components including VLAN, ACLM, iCC,
and GAM.
In addition, to meet different service requirements, IMC offers various
optional components including EIA, EAD, MVM, IVM, VSM, WSM, NTA,
UBA, SOM, APM, QoSM, SHM, VCM, BIMS, RAM, SDNM, VFM,
UCHM, EMO, .BSM, and ITSM.
VLAN Management
VLAN Management (VLANM) is included in Enterprise and Standard
editions of IMC.
The VLAN technology is widely used to restrict broadcasts among
switches in a LAN. As the network grows, configuring and managing a
large number of VLANs can be a problem.
VLAN management allows you to plan and deploy configuration of
VLANs, view VLAN topologies, and view information about VLAN
deployment.
ACL Management
ACL Management (ACLM) is included in Enterprise and Standard
editions of IMC. The ACLM implements the following functions:
