Setting Up Output Server 2

This chapter explains how to configure an Output Server 2 channel using the Configuration
panel on the Output Server 2 user interface and the Output Server 2-specific setup required
in the iTX Desktop.

Output Server 2 User Interface

The configuration of the Output Server 2 service is performed from the Output Server 2
user interface, which is external to the iTX Desktop client. The user interface consists of two
panels, the Configuration panel and the Engineering panel.

The Configuration panel is used to set properties that control the processing of the
transmission signal and the delivery of the signal from the playout server. It consists of the
following tabs:

• Channel

• Watermark

• Dolby Metadata

• Subtitles

• SCTE104

The Engineering panel is used for general Output Server 2 diagnostics. It consists of the
following tabs:

• Hardware

• Event Log
