MC 3010 Machine Control Panel

The MC 3010/2 version of this panel is shown in Figure 2−85; installation is shown on page 2−50.

The MC 3010 is used to control four (MC 3010/1 version) or eight (MC 3010/2 version) tape machines. The display window
shows the name of the machine presently linked to the button group immediately below. Lighted, re−legendable push buttons
are provided for motion control and status.

A special feature of the panel is the GANG START key, which allows a command to be sent to multiple machines simultane-
ously.

The method by which machines are assigned to the MC 3010 is described in detail later in this manual (see Assigning Ma-
chines to Control Panels
on page 5−149).

The panel must be entered on the Machine Control Devices table (page 5−140) and the MPK Devices table (page 5−109).
