Fan Board
The Fan board, mounted to the fan tray, provides distribution of power from the power
supply to the three internal fans, the two rear panel fans, and the Distribution Board.
Removal and replacement of the Fan board requires removal of the fan tray.
To remove the Fan board:
1. Perform the Fan Tray removal procedure, including power off and power cable
disconnect page 6-18.
2. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to remove the screws which attach the Fan board
to the fan tray (Figure 6-11, page 6-19).
To replace an internal fan:
1. Use the Torx tool with the T15 tip to attach the Fan board to the fan tray with the
screws previously removed.
2. Perform the Fan Tray replacement procedure.
