Turn to the right:

Tunes to higher channels.

Turn to the left:

Tunes to lower channels.

Category selection

The channel can be selected from among
categories such as ROCK and DANCE.
Consult the XM website for the details of the
categories.

The category will switch in the order
shown below each time button is
pressed.
Up:

Advances to the next category.

Down:

Returns to the previous category.

Direct channel selection

The channel can be selected by inputting the
channel directly.

The mode will change to the direct
channel selection mode.

Right:

Advances to the next number.

Left:

Returns to the previous number.

Each time the button is pressed, the
channel number changes in the
following order.

↔ 1 ↔ 2 ↔ 3 ↔ 4 ↔ 5 ↔ 6 ↔ 7 ↔

8

↔ 9 ↔ 0 ↔ www

Reception starts.

Manually setting channels into
memory

This section covers the setting of channels into
memory under the numbered buttons.

The tuned channel is now memorized
and set in the button selected. Repeat
the procedure to set additional
manually tuned channels into memory,
in turn, for buttons [1] to [6]. These
buttons are called the preset buttons.

ATTENTION

If the vehicle’s battery is disconnected (for
repairs to the vehicle or when removing the
main unit), all channels stored in memory will
be lost. In such cases, set the channels into
memory again.

Turn the [VOL] button for left or
right.

Press the [SELECT] (Up/Down)
button for less than one second.

Press the [MODE] button for more
than one second.

Press the [SELECT] (Right/Left)
button to select the channel
number.

Press the [SELECT] (Up/Down)
button to select the channel
number to be input.

Press the [ENTER] button.

Press the [SELECT] (Right/Left)
button to tune to the channel to be
entered in the memory.

Select any button, from [1] to [6],
and press it for more than two
seconds.
