2.6 Read Sensor Type
Each channel type can be read using a command of the form: uxxx51. where xxx = the channel
# in HEX.
Example:
• u00a51 will return 18, indicating the channel is configured for a type T thermocouple.
2.7 Thermocouple Reference Temperature Alarms
This feature makes use of existing commands to identify any thermocouple channel with a cold
junction reference temperature that deviates from the average of all cold junction reference
temperatures by more than a user defined amount (factory default = 10
°C). Related commands
are as follows:
Command: q0c
Action:
Query thermocouple reference temperature
alarms.
Command: w1901
Action:
Set thermocouple reference temperature
alarms threshold.
Command: q0e
Action:
Query thermocouple reference temperature
alarms threshold.
