Building a Disk Array
1. Decide the number of disk arrays to be used and the RAID level, then the number of hard disks to be used and
whether or not to use a reserve disk.
Hitachi PC VisionBase 8450H/R Server contains six extended storage bays to which you can install a hard disk.
You can build a disk array as shown in the following example:
