cordless handset.

The fax machine makes a special
ringing sound.

The other person picks up the fax machine handset to answer.

Talk with the other person. When you are ready to end the conversation,

Paging the cordless handset from the fax machine
(cordless handset locator)
You can use this procedure to page the cordless handset, or locate the
handset in the event that you misplace it.

then pick up the handset.

Note: When using the Intercom feature, you will not hear your voice through
the handset receiver when you speak.
