Dirt Sensor
Although the dirt sensor feature in your
POWER NOZZLE is designed for years of
trouble free use, the passage of dirt through
the air passage system can coat the lenses
causing the green light to come on and stay
on - never switching to red. When this hap-
pens the lenses must be cleaned.
TO CLEAN THE LENSES
➢ ➢ Remove the wand by pressing the quick
release pedal and lifting up on the wand.
➢ ➢ As indicated by the illustration, the two dirt
sensor elements are located on the inside
of the swivel, approximately 3½ inches/90
mm down, (note the arrows). Each element
should be cleaned periodically. To reach
the sensor elements, use a small brush
such as a bottle brush. Brush each sensor
element several times to remove dust and
dirt.
NOTE: Looking down inside the swivel you will
see a ring. The sensor elements are located
just slightly below this ring.
➢ ➢ Reinstall the wand after cleaning the
sensors.

CAUTION
Never use water or any cleaning solution
when cleaning the lenses. The residue of
the water or cleaners will accelerate the
recoating of the lenses and make
cleaning necessary sooner.

➢ Presione el dispositivo de retención y
saque el Power Nozzle Compacto de la
bandeja.
FIXATION DU PORTE-TÊTE
MOTORISÉE
➢ Aligner la languette sur le tube avec la
fente sur le porte-tête motorisée.
➢ Appuyer sur le porte-tête motorisée
pour l'enclencher sur le tube.
INSERTION DE LA TÊTE MOTORISÉE
COMPACTE
➢ Insérer la devant de la tête motorisée
compacte dans le porte-tête motorisée.
➢ Appuyer sur la tête motorisée compacte
jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'enclenche.
RETRAIT DE LA TÊTE MOTORISÉE
COMPACTE
➢ Appuyer sur le loquet et soulever la tête
motorisée compacte pour la retirer du
porte-tête motorisée.
