Separate Prints

Make prints from the same origi-
nal for multiple classes. You must
enter the numbers of prints for
each class manually.
You can also register frequently
used settings of the numbers of
prints in the machine's memory
and recall these for future use.

Year/Class

Make prints from the same originals
for all registered classes, years.
This mode allows you to store the
number of students in each class in
the machine's memory beforehand.

Note

❒ When you select the Class Setting

function, Separate mode is auto-
matically enabled. The Separator
pulls the top sheet of each set de-
livered to the paper delivery tray
to mark the end of each print set.

❒ You can also cancel Separate mode

with User Tools. See p.163 “Auto
Separate (Class)”.

Class mode

A

Place one original on the expo-
sure glass or in the optional ADF.

B

Press [Class Settings].

C

Press [Class].

D

Enter the number of prints and
classes per pattern using the num-
ber keys, and then press the
{q}
key.

Registering a program

You can also register frequently
used settings in machine memory.
A Press [Program / Recall].
B Press [Program].
C Press the program number you

want to store.

Note

❒ Program numbers displayed

with m next to them already
have settings.

D Enter the program name using

the letter keys on the display
panel.
You can enter up to 40 charac-
ters.
