Insert the SmartMedia card
1 Make sure that the camera power
switch is in the off position.
2 Open the Card cover.
3 Insert the SmartMedia card in the
direction shown in the illustration.

Note the orientation of the card. If it
is inserted incorrectly, it may
become jammed.
●
When using a special function
SmartMedia card (optional), insert
it in the same way.
4 Close the cover tightly.

Insert the card fully until
you feel it lock into place.
