Action Not Matched - Only packets that do not match the rule
parameters will be logged.

Both – All packets will be logged.

Action Matched

Select the action for a matching packet. Choices are Check
Next Rule
, Forward or Drop.

Action Not Matched

Select the action for a packet not matching the rule. Choices are
Check Next Rule, Forward or Drop.

Once you have completed filling in Menu 21.6.1 - IPX Filter Rule, press [

ENTER

] at the

message “Press Enter to Confirm…” to save your configuration, or press [

ESC

] to cancel. This

data will now be displayed in Menu 21.6 - Filter Rules Summary.

Let’s look at the third default ZyXEL filter, TELNET_WAN (see Telnet_WAN Filter Rules Summary
figure
) as an example. This filter is designed to block outside users from telnetting into the Prestige.
