5.1

Maintenance

The measuring instrument is almost maintenance-free.
The only maintenance task is replacing the batteries.
LoBat on the display indicates that the batteries should be changed. The bat-
teries are then largely depleted.

Replacing the

batteries

Warning
Make sure that the poles of the batteries are the right way round.
The

±

signs on the batteries must correspond to the

±

signs in the battery

compartment. Only use leakproof alkaline manganese batteries.

Open the housing after the instrument has been switched off:
– Undo the four screws on the underside of the instrument

– Pull down the lower cover (1).

If necessary, take the four depleted batteries (2) out of the bat-
tery compartment.

Place four new batteries (type Mignon AA) in the battery com-
partment.

Close the lower cover (1).
