Determining the cell constant (calibrating)

Note
This method of automatically determining the cell constant by calibra-
tion with the 0.01 mol/l KCL standard solution can only be used for
measuring cells with cell constants in the range 0.450 ... 0.500 cm

-1

or

0.800 ... 1.200 cm

-1

This is how you can determine the cell constant:

Press the <CAL> key until CELL appears on the display.

Press the <RUN/ENTER> key.

Press the <CAL> repeatedly, until the calibrated cell constant
appears on the display: CAL appears on the display.

The displayed value is the current calibrated cell constant. You
can:
– accept this setting for measuring with <M> or

– continue with step 5 and start a new calibration.

Immerse the measuring cell in the control standard solution,
0.01 mol/KCl.
