Using the Software

View and Print Reports

The Luminex xPONENT software can format your batch or multi-batch results in a variety
of export formats and provide different types of information in different types of reports.
Three types of reports are available. See “Reports Tab” on page 45 for a description of
available reports.

NOTE:

Install the printer before initiating the Print command.

1. Open the Results page, then open the Reports tab.

2. In the Report list, click the report you want to view.

3. In the Type list, select the report type you want to view.

4. Select the item for which you want to generate the report. If you are creating a batch

report, select the analyte to include in the report.

5. Click Generate. The report displays in the lower part of the Reports tab.

6. Click Print to print the report, or Save to save the report as a .pdf file.

Transmit a Batch

You can only perform this task if you are using an xPONENT package licensed for LIS.

Using Protocols, Lots, and Kits

Protocols

There are four protocol types:

Qualitative Assay (Standards or Controls)

Quantitative Assay (Standards or Controls)

Allele Call

None (No Analysis)

You can also create a protocol that does not use an analysis setting.

You can create each Quantitative, Qualitative, or Allele Call protocol using one product
that is composed of a definable number of standards and controls.

biohazardous material exists, follow appropriate biosafety
procedures and use personal protective equipment, such as
