2.2.12 Detecting missing laser pulses.
The M-LINK detects the missing laser pulses using the External Trigger and the Histogram Display.
Step 1: Connect the External trigger of your Laser to the External trigger of the M-LINK using the
BNC connector.
Step 2: Select the External trigger from the Status Window.
Step 3: Select the Histogram Display in the Display Menu.
Step 4: Start your laser and place your Cursor on the left x-axis, the upper corner of the
histogram shows the number of pulses that are missed. Reset the histogram using the clear
command.
