With the exception noted above, the host software should wait for an instrument reply before executing a
subsequent command or query.
VER Queries the Firmware Version. No arguments are used.

RNG Sets or Queries the instrument range

Send rng27CRLF sets the range to index 27, the 30mW or 30mJ range. See
table below for ranges versus indices
