CHECKING THE SCALE ACCURACY
To ensure continued charging accuracy, check your scale using these procedures every
three months.
1. Remove all weight from the scale platform.
2. While in the "Program" mode, press SHIFT/RESET and ENTER at the same time
and the "func" message will display when the manual diagnostic mode has been
accessed.
3. Press "6". The display will show "0.00."
4. Place a known weight between 10 and 70 pounds on the scale platform. The display
will show the known weight on the scale platform (± .04 lb/02 Kg).
CALIBRATING THE SCALE
If necessary, follow these steps to calibrate the scale:
1. Remove all weight from the scale platform.
2. Plug in the unit and turn on the MAIN POWER switch.
3. Press SHIFT/RESET until the PROGRAM message appears.
4. Press SHIFT/RESET and ENTER at the same time to access the diagnostics mode.
The message "func" will display.
5. Press "9" to erase the display. Then press ENTER and RECOVER at the same time.
The display will flash and show "Zero."
6. Press ENTER again. The display will flash the messages "CAL," then A1," then
display "0.00."
7. Place a known weight on the scale platform, then enter that weight numerically on the
keypad. For example, to record 20 pounds on the scale, press "2," "0," and "0" on
the keypad.
8. Press ENTER again and the display returns to the Vacuum mode.
