Mark the Set extension status to Allowed check box.

Next, click the OK button to close the New Web Service Extensions
window and return to the Web Services Extension portion of the IIS
Manager window.

The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window appears. The
Web Service Extensions portion is still selected. The IntelliTrack Web
Service Extension status has been set to Allowed.

Setting Up IIS v7.0 to allow the IntelliTrack Web Service
Extension

If you are using IIS v7.0 and Windows Vista, you must enable the web ser-
vice extension to allow the IntelliTrack ISRP Sync URL dll to run.

Important: If you do not enable the ISRP web extension in IIS v7, you can-
not synchronize the workstation application and the batch portable appli-
cation databases.

1.

Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools and open Internet Infor-
mation Services (IIS) Manager.

In the left pane, select the top level node on the left with the computer
name.

In the right pane, open ISAPI and CGI Restrictions. This will display
a list of applications.

Under the Descriptions column look for SQL Server Compact Edition.
If it exists, double-click to open it and make sure the ISAPI or CGI
path is pointing to the correct sqlcesa35.dll. The description should be
SQL Server Compact Edition and the Allow extension path to exe-
cute
check box should be marked.
If it does not exist, right-click on the empty space; a context-sensitive
menu appears. Select Add from the right-click menu.
The Add ISAPI or CGI Restriction dialog appears. Add SQL Server
Compact Edition
and apply the settings outlined above in step 4.

5.

Select the top level node (with the computer name) in the left pane of
the window.
