Configuring the ITI Registration

Application Pool

This section applies to the Windows Vista Operating System or the Win-
dows Server 2008 Operating System. If you are using the Windows XP
operating system, this section does not apply to you.

If you are using the Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 Operating
System, you must configure the ITIRegistration Application Pool in IIS
Manager in order to upload data to the workstation application.

Warning: If you are using the Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008
operating system, you MUST CONFIGURE the ITIRegistration Pool in
your IIS Manager in order to upload portable data to the workstation
application. If you do not configure the ITIRegistration Pool, you will
receive an error when you try to upload data from the handheld device to
the workstation application.

Note: The batch portable application will transfer 10 items to the worksta-
tion application while running in demo mode. Item transfer is limited to
this amount (10 items) until the application is licensed.

The ITIRegistration application pool is configured in IIS Manager. To con-
figure the ITIRegistration Application Pool, please refer to the instructions
that follow.

1.

Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools and open Internet
Information Services (IIS) Manager.

In the left pane, select the Sites folder > Default Web Site folder >
ITIRegistration.

3.

Select ITIRegistration and right-click to display the right-click menu.

At the right-click menu, select Manage Application > Advanced Set-
tings
; the Advanced Settings window for the ITIRegistration Applica-
tion Pool appears. The Application Pool for the ITIRegistration
Application Pool is highlighted.
