calibration. In case of repair or service, contact ZOLL at +1.800.348.9011 or +1.978.421.9655.

Consideration should be given to the frequency of product use, storage conditions and knowledge of all
product users to determine your local operator maintenance schedule.

If the AutoPulse is used more than once per week, daily inspections may be appropriate.

If the AutoPulse is used less than once per week, weekly inspections may be appropriate.

It is the customer's decision to determine the frequency of preventative maintenance.

Inspect the AutoPulse in accordance with the inspection checklist provided. Follow the recommended
actions as appropriate. The AutoPulse conducts a self-test each time the device is powered on. The self-
test is designed to perform a variety of internal system self-checks for the platform components, and is
fully automated.

1.

Inspect the platform for physical damage, including cracks, tears and missing or broken pieces.
Contact ZOLL as needed.

2.

Remove the Battery from the AutoPulse.

3.

Inspect the battery compartment for foreign substances, be sure it is free and clear for battery
insertion. Remove any foreign matter or debris.

4.

Check the vent openings on the bottom-side of the platform, insure they are free and clear to allow
air flow. Remove any foreign matter or debris that may block the flow of air.

5.

Check the shaft opening where the belt clip is inserted for foreign substances. Blow out the opening
using compressed air or micro-duster. Do not insert tools or other objects into the opening.

6.

Install a fully charged Battery from the Battery Charger. If a spare or second battery is stored with
the AutoPulse, place the spare in the Battery Charger and place the Batter removed from the
AutoPulse into the spare location. If a spare Battery is not stored, place the Battery into the Battery
Charger.

7.

Perform System Self Test - Install a LifeBand and power on the AutoPulse. On Power up, all LEDs
on the display will momentarily light up, then only the Green POWER LED will remain lit. The
battery gauge should also be visible with 4 bars, if not replace Battery with a fully charged Battery
from the Battery Charger. If the AutoPulse Platform red ALERT LED remains on, refer to the
Troubleshooting Guide. If the RED LED can not be resolved, contact ZOLL.
