Plug one end of the 3 conductor AC cable into its mating socket. Make

sure it is properly seated.

Align the two modules and slide them together, making sure the holes

in the heavy joining plates align with the holes in the modules. Install the

remaining screws into the joining plates and tighten all the screws. The

assembly is now complete.

Important: The IC16/8-R-II and IC32/16-R require slightly different cabling

between the modules.

IC16/8-R-II

The IC16/8 has only a single 8-channel amplifier (1 channel for each two

transducers), instead of the two 8-channel amplifiers (1 channel for each

transducer) used in the IC16-R-II.

This requires different connections between the two modules. In the

IC16/8-R-II, the single 8-channel amplifier will be located in the bottom or

Master module.

1. Locate the 8 pin connector in the lower module. See Figure 1.

2. Locate and pull out the 8 conductor loudspeaker connecting cable in the

bottom of the upper module (the one without an 8-channel amplifier). See

Figure 2.

3. Pug the 8 conductor loudspeaker connecting cable into the 8 pin con-

nector in the lower module. See Figure 3.

4. Finish the mechanical assembly.

Note that you do not have to connect the upper module’s power and ribbon

cables to the lower module.

IC32/16-R-II

The IC32/16-R-II has only two 8-channel amplifiers (1 channel for each two

transducers), instead of the four 8-channel amplifiers (1 channel for each

transducer) used in the IC32-R-II.

The 8-channel amplifiers will be located in the bottom (Master) module and

in the third module.

The procedure is the same as for the IC16/8-R-II except that:

1. The 8 conductor loudspeaker cable needs to be connected between the

Master module and the second module and between the third and fourth

modules.

2. The power and the ribbon cables need to be used to connect all four

modules together.
