Other options.
A Management Card contained in the Battery
Management System master controller uses the following options within a
valid DHCP response to define NTP, DNS, hostname, and domain name
settings:
•
NTP Server, Primary and Secondary
(option 42): Up to two NTP
servers that can be used by the Management Card.
•
NTP Time Offset
(option 2): The offset of the Management Card's
subnet, in seconds, from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), formerly
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
•
DNS Server, Primary and Secondary
(option 6): Up to two DNS
servers that can be used by the Management Card.
•
Host Name
(option 12): The host name to be used by the
Management Card (32-character maximum length).
•
Domain Name
(option 15): The domain name to be used by the
Management Card (64-character maximum length).
