The S
HUTDOWN
T
ERMINAL
function will power down the terminal operating system.
Press <4> on the keypad. When prompted, press <E
NTER
> on the keypad to initiate the shutdown
operation. Once the computer is powered down, you will have to manually turn the power supply O
N
/O
FF
switch to the O
FF
position. To restore power, turn the power supply O
N
/O
FF
to the O
N
position.
The R
ESTART
T
ERMINAL
function will just reboot the terminal. It will take several minutes for the
terminal to power down and then power back up.
Press <5> on the keypad. When prompted, press <E
NTER
> on the keypad to initiate the restart
operation.
