Rounding Method
Standard rounding (round up if 5 or greater, round down if lower than 5) should be used when
converting amounts. For example, $1.255 would yield $1.26, and $1.254 would yield $1.25.
Any amounts that are converted from foreign requested amount to local amount will use this
rounding method. This includes:
•
Requested amount in local currency sent to the host in a transaction request
•
Requested amount in local currency presented to the customer on the screen and on the
receipt.
Regional Settings
The regional settings locale (Management Functions=>System=>Regional Settings) must be set
to “English (United Kingdom)” to designate pounds as the local currency type.
Note: only currency setting of 2 decimal places (in Regional Settings=>Currency=>No. of
decimal places) is supported by this release.
