After selecting the “N
EW
K
EY
” option, use the keypad on the control panel to enter the PIN Master
Key into the dialog box. Follow the keypad and function key orientation (layout) as illustrated by the
graphic panel on the right side of the screen. As each character of the key is entered on the keypad,
an asterisk is displayed in the dialog box. After all 32 characters of the first key part have been
entered from the keypad, press the <Enter> key. A dialog box
will appear and display the check digits
for the key.
Verify the check digits match the check digits provided by the processor. If they match, press
<E
NTER
> on the control panel keypad to accept the key. Press <E
NTER
> again to return to the Key
Management screen. If the returned check digits do not match, press <C
ANCEL
> on the keypad. The
existing key will not change. Press <E
NTER
> to return to the Key Management screen. Select the
“E
NTER
PIN M
ASTER
K
EY
” option by pressing <1> on the keypad and repeat the steps for entering
a key part.
