option allows the terminal operator to perform the following functions:

. Displays a management report that shows properties of the modems (dial-up and
TCP/IP) parameters.

. This function tests the modem by dialing a number that you enter in a dialog box. A status
report displays the progress and results of the operation.

. Displays a management report showing the number of modem call attempts, busy
signals, and aborted calls.

. Enables you to view and configure the modem’s operating parameters.
