NAVIGATION TREE NODES

Sites, connections, devices, parameters, and tests are all “nodes” in the
Navigation tree. The symbol + means a node can be expanded to show
more nodes below it.

When a node is selected in the tree,

• the Information

pane displays
information
about the
selected node.

• the Information pane displays “action buttons” for the actions that

can be performed on the selected node.

SITE NODE

When a site is selected,
the Information pane
shows the connection(s)
in the site and their
status.

Site Actions

To add a connection,
click the Add
Connection
button.

To delete one or more connections, select the connection in the
Information pane and click Delete Connection(s).

CONNECTION NODE

When a connection is
selected, the Information
pane shows the
connection type, COM
port, baud rate,
connection strategy, and
phone number for a
modem connection.

TIP: Some action buttons are available only after making a
selection within the Information pane.
