SECTION 10: TEST DATA FILES

You can customize Data Manager to use an application other than Excel
by editing the file DATAMGR.INI (in your Win-Situ folder) to include these
lines:

[Export]
SSPath=<directory and exe name>

PRINTING DATA

To print the Report or Graph as currently displayed, select Print on the
File Menu. Your Windows documentation has complete information on
print options.

SAVING CHANGES

Data Manager shows when a file has been changed by displaying the
word “Modified” at the lower right corner of the screen. When you close
a file that has been modified, you have a choice of saving the changes
or restoring the binary file to its original state.

EXITING DATA MANAGER

1. Select Exit from the File Menu.

2. If any open files have changed, Data Manager will ask whether you

want to save changes.

• If you click Yes, changes will be made to the original binary file.

• If you click No, the changes will be lost.

• If you’d like to preserve the changes, but without overwriting the

original binary data file, select No, then save the changes in a
text file. See “Saving Text Files” on page 36.
