Pool Configuration Buffer

Disk event
interval

54:55

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. The interval at which
disk full events should be generated after the disk event
threshold has been reached. Set to -1 if event generation based
on disk utilization is disabled or when no disk event interval has
been configured. Set to 1 through 99 to indicate the percent disk
usage must increase because the last event was emitted for
another event to be emitted.

Extent event
threshold

56:57

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. The threshold at
which the disk processes associated with magnetic physical
volumes in the storage pool should emit an EMS file full event.
Set to -1 if event generation based on file fullness is disabled.
Set to 0 or greater to indicate the number of remaining
unallocated extents at which file full events should be generated.

Extent event
interval

58:59

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. The interval at which
file full events should be generated after the extent threshold has
been reached. Set to -1 if event generation based on file fullness
is disabled or when no extent interval has been configured. Set
to 0 or greater to control the rate at which events are emitted as
extents are used.

Reserved

60:61

Not currently used. Always set to -1.

Reserved

62:63

Not currently used. Always set to -1.

Reserved

64:65

Not currently used. Always set to -1.

Magnetic
volume
requirements

66:67

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. Set to 0 if magnetic
volumes are not allowed in the storage pool. Set to 1 if they are
allowed. Set to 2 if they are required. Set to 3 if no requirements
for magnetic volumes have been configured.

Audited volume
requirements

68:69

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. Set to 0 if a volume
that is audited by TMF cannot be associated with the storage
pool. Set to 1 if audited volumes are allowed in the storage pool.
Set to 2 if audited volumes are required. Set to 3 if no auditing
requirements have been configured.

Mirrored
volume
requirements

70:71

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. Set to 0 if mirrored
volumes are not allowed in the storage pool. Set to 1 if mirrored
volumes are allowed. Set to 2 if mirrored volumes are required.
Set to 3 if no mirroring requirements have been configured for
the storage pool.

Nomadic disk
requirements

72:73

Two bytes treated as a single binary field. Set to 0 if nomadic
volumes are not allowed in the storage pool. Set to 2 if nomadic
volumes are required.
