Cause. A communication failure between a virtual disk process and a storage pool
process occurred during statistics updating.
Effect. Statistics are not updated.
Recovery. If this is a transient event, there is no recovery is necessary. If the problem
persists, contact your service provider.

is an internal SMF error number associated with token ZSMF-TKN-INT16-LINK1.
