is returned if a file system or shared services error occurs. See Conditional
Information on page A-23. Shared services notifications are described in Table A-8
on page A-16.
Cause. VDP has not received the volume status information or the name range from
the SMF pool to which it belongs.
Effect. A create or relocate request to the VDP fails.
Recovery. Ensure that the pool process is up and running and that it has information
about all the volumes included in it, and then retry the failed operation.
5344: ZSMF-EVT-UNABLERMOVESFRDENTRY
physicalfile-name
is a physical file name associated with token ZSMF-TKN-FILENAME-LINK1.
conditional-info
is returned if a file system or shared services error occurs. See Conditional

on page A-16.
Cause. VDP has been defined using already existing physical ANT and PENDOPS
catalog files. ANT contains an entry for SAFE.GUARD, but the physical file was purged
before VDP definition. An error occurred during logical file cleanup. VDP was unable to
remove the ANT entry for the SAFE.GUARD file.
Effect. File info on logical SAFE.GUARD file reports error 11.
Recovery. Use SMFIXUP ZOT <vdp-name>.SAFE.GUARD to remove the ANT entry
of the SAFE.GUARD file.
5345: ZSMF-EVT-NAMERANGEERRFROMPOOL

is a file system error number associated with token ZSMF-TKN-INT16-LINK1.
Physical mapped file physicalfile-name for SAFE.GUARD not
found. Error occurred attempting to remove ANT entry for
