• LDEV: LDEV number, ranging from 00 to FF.
•
Interval: The interval for allocating S-VOLs to P-VOLs.
Cnt Ac-S and Cnt Ac-S Z only Primary Volume Fence Level
Whether the P-VOL can be written to when the pair is split due to error.
• Data: Cannot be written to.
•
Status: Can be written to only if the local system can change S-VOL status to
Suspended; otherwise no.
• Never: Can be written to.
Whether data is copied to the S-VOL when the pair is created. Initial Copy Type

Entire Volume: Data is copied. The default.
• None: Data is not copied.
•
Delta: Data is not copied. Cnt Ac-J and Cnt Ac-J Z only.
Cnt Ac-S and Cnt Ac-S Z only Copy Pace
Number of tracks to be copied per remote I/O during the operation.
• For Cnt Ac-S, the range is 1-15.
•
Cnt Ac-S Z options are 3 and 15.
The default is the value specified in the Create Pairs window.
Scheduling order for the initial copy operation. Range is 1 to 256; default is

Cnt Ac-S Z only. CFW Data
Whether CFW (DASD fast write) data is copied to the S-VOL.

Primary Volume Only: Data not copied (default).
• Secondary Volume Copy: Data is copied.
Cnt Ac-S Z only. DFW to Secondary Volume
Whether the local system splits the pair when the remote system cannot copy
DFW data to the S-VOL

Require: Splits the pair.
• Not Require: Does not split.
Cnt Ac-S Z only. Host I/O Time Stamp Transfer
Whether the host I/O time stamp is transferred from P-VOL to S-VOL.
Cnt Ac-J and Cnt Ac-J Z only. Error Level
Whether to split all pairs in the mirror if a failure occurs during this operation:
•
Mirror: Pairs in the mirror are split.
• Volume: Only the failed pair is split.
Cnt Ac-J Z only. CFW
Whether to copy cache fast write (CFW) data to the S-VOL.
•
Primary Volume Only: Does not copy. Default.
• Secondary Volume Copy: Copies.
