The pair cannot be split because of one of the following conditions:

•
Write access permitted in the S-VOL is unsupported.
•
The Swap Suspend is unsupported.
The pair cannot be created because the specified P-VOL is one of the following:
47BA
•
Used as an BC Z S-VOL.
•
Intervention-required or protected.
The pair cannot be created because Cnt Ac-S Z asynchronous is not supported.
4A5C
The pair cannot be created because the specified P-VOL belongs to a different CLPR than the registered
consistency group CLPR.
4A96
A pair cannot be resynchronized because the specified consistency group does not have the Open/MF
attribute.
4B02
The pair cannot be created because the specified P-VOL is defined as the command device.
4B04
The pair cannot be resynchronized because the specified volume is in failover in PPRC.
4B22
The pair cannot be split because the specified volume is in failover in PPRC.

The pair operation was rejected because the online microcode is being replaced.
