Clearing Jams in the Rear Door Areas
WARNING!
Do not touch the fuser: it is hot and could
cause burns! The fuser’s operating
temperature is 190° C (374° F). Wait 30
minutes to allow the fuser to cool down
before working in this area.
1 If the duplex printing accessory is
installed, open the rear duplex cover.
2 Open the upper rear door.
3 Inspect the upper paper path area
inside the rear door and remove any
jammed or torn media.
4 Open the fuser door and remove any
jammed media.
