4-3-2-1 Display

The year grid is a two-dimensional grid with the months to the left and the dates at the top. Each cell
shows the EMS activity for a given day of the month. You can switch from one year to another by
changing the year dropdown selection on the top right corner. The cells are color-coded:

Red cells represent past days that do not have any data. This might be either because the

collector was not run that day or if there were no events matching the selection for that day.

Green cells represent days for which events exist but no alerts were generated. The number

within the cell is the number of events for the day. Thousands are represented by the ‘k’ symbol. E.g.
‘5k’ is a number between 5000 and 5999.

Yellow cells are similar to green cells except for the fact that alerts were generated on that day.

Rolling the mouse pointer over a green or yellow cell brings up a popup showing the breakdown for
events for that day:

Figure 30 Mouse Rollover - Events Breakdown

As seen above the events are broken down into Normal (Info) and Critical events. Within each
category they are further broken down into Non-action, Action-reqd & Action-taken events. In case of
a yellow cell (with alerts), an additional row shows up below the ‘Total’ row, showing the number of
alerts generated for that day.
