Update the gwlmdb.properties file by executing the following command from the command
prompt:

vseinitconfig -a

Open a Windows command prompt and navigate to ..\Program Files\HP\Operations
Orchestration\Central\tools

.

Execute change-db-props.bat to change the Operations Orchestration database password.
For example:

C:\Program Files\HP\Operations

Orchestration\Central\tools>change-db-props.bat Administrator <New

password>

Restart the RSCentral Windows service.

Open Operations Orchestration Central (web portal) at

https://localhost:16443/PAS/

and

log in using the old (unchanged) credentials.

7.

Select the Administration tab and change the password for the admin user. The new admin
password must match the oo.admin.password specified above.

Warnings

Verify that all jobs related to Insight software are finished before running this command. If SMH
is open, close it.

Dependencies

All of the following must be true:

Insight software is installed and configured on a Windows operationg system, using Microsoft
SQL.

The user changed their password in the operating system using standard Windows password
change tools.

Reconfiguring the CMS host and IP attributes

Use the mxreconfig —m host command to update and change the CMS host and IP attributes.
This command enables you to realign the Systems Insight Manager host name and/or IP address
with the operating system after the operating system host name and/or IP address has changed.
For example, this command could be used after renaming the server on which Systems Insight
Manager is installed.

IMPORTANT:

This command is applicable to Systems Insight Manager only.

The host command does the following:

Stops all installed Systems Insight Manager partner services.

Changes the references to the CMS name used by Systems Insight Manager.

Changes the CMS primary IP address.

Creates a new CMS certificate.

starts all installed Systems Insight Manager partner services.

To reconfigure the CMS host name and primary IP address to the same as the system name and
primary IP address, complete the following:

Manager.
