Trap Flags
From the Trap Flags page, you can enable or disable the system to send
traps when the SNMP authentication failed or the link status changed.
To enable or disable sending traps, do the following:
1. From the Navigation pane, go to System > Trap Manager > Trap
Flags.
The Trap Flags page is displayed as shown in Figure 58.

2. Specify the following fields in Table 23.

Field
Description
Authentication
Select one of the options:
Enable: The system sends traps when the
SNMP authentication failed.
Disable: The system does not send traps
when the SNMP authentication failed.
Link Up/Down
Select one of the options;
Enable: The system sends traps when the link
status of the Ethernet port on the WLAN
Controller changed or when the status of a
managed AP changed.
Disable: The system does not send traps
when the link status of the Ethernet port on
the WLAN Controller changed or when the
status of managed AP changed.
