Recording a still image on a tape – Tape Photo recording
Self-timer tape photo recording
You can make a tape photo recording with the self-timer. You can also operate using
the Remote Commander.
(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
(2) Press FN and select PAGE3 (p. 16).
(3) Press SELFTIMER.
The
(self-timer) indicator appears on the LCD screen or in the viewfinder.
(4) Press PHOTO deeper.
Self-timer starts counting down from 10 with a beep sound. In the last two
seconds of the countdown, the beep sound gets faster, then the recording starts
automatically.
To cancel the self-timer tape photo recording
Press SELFTIMER so that the
indicator disappears from the LCD screen or the
viewfinder while your camcorder is in the standby mode. You cannot cancel the self-
timer tape photo recording using the Remote Commander.
Note
The self-timer tape photo recording mode is automatically cancelled when:
•The self-timer tape photo recording is finished.
•The POWER switch is set to OFF or VCR.
