On the remote control

1

While the recorder is playing, press
PLAYMODE repeatedly until
PGM ” flashes in the display.

Turn the control repeatedly to select a
track number, and then press RPT/
ENT to enter a track number.

Repeat step 2 to program more tracks.

Press RPT/ENT for 2 seconds or
more.
The program is set and the playback
starts from the first track.

The program play setting will be remain in

memory even after playback finished or is
stopped.

The settings can be stored to the Personal Disc

Memory (page 69).

You can specify the playback mode for a

selected group when the group mode is on. To
activate the group mode, see “Selecting and
playing groups (Group Skip Mode)”
(page 41)
.

Notes

All program settings are lost when the lid of

the recorder is opened.

If the recorder is stopped and left inactive for

5 minutes in the middle of a programming
operation, the tracks selected up to that point
are entered as the program.

If you turn group mode on or off during the

setting of a program, program setting mode
will be canceled, but the program contents up
to that point will remain.

If you turn group mode on during program

play, the program play is canceled.

Adjusting treble or bass
(Digital Sound Preset)

You can adjust the treble and bass to suit
your taste. The recorder can store two sets
of treble-bass adjustments, which can
then be selected later during playback.

Sound Preset

Factory settings of the Digital Sound
Preset are as follows:
• “SOUND 1”: bass +1, treble ±0
• “SOUND 2”: bass +3, treble ±0

On the recorder

Press the jog dial.

Turn the dial until “SOUND” flashes
in the display, and then press to enter.

3

Turn the jog dial until “SOUND 1” or
“SOUND 2” flashes in the display,
and then press to enter.
