Connecting to power

With the proper insert installed, you can now plug in the system.

1.

Notice the arrow on top of the cable connector from the power pack (Figure 4).

2.

Line up this arrow with the one on the back of the system as you insert the connector



into the jack.

3.

Insert the small connector end of the power cable into the jack on the power pack.

4.

Plug the other end of this cable into a wall outlet.

To check for iPod compatibility
For the SoundDock™ system remote control to work as expected, your iPod must have



the proper version (or later) of Apple software installed (Figure 5).

To check the software version your iPod is currently running, select Settings, About, Version on



the iPod display.

If you need to upgrade, simply visit the Apple iPod website and follow the instructions there for a free
