Hydraulic Cylinder Installation
1. With the Cylinder ports facing forward and using the
Pin and Cotter Pins provided with the Cylinder, attach
the base end of the Cylinder to the proper hole in the
3 hole plate on the Drawbar Frame based on the
seeder width being used. See Figure 2-7.
2. Attach the rod end of the Cylinder into the
appropriate Short Hitch Lug hole, based on the width
of the seeders being used, using the Pin and Cotter
Pins provided with the cylinder.
• If you are using two 12 foot wide seeders, the front
holes are used for mounting the cylinder.
• If you are using the two 10 foot wide seeders, use the
middle holes.
• If you are using two 8 foot wide seeders, use the rear
holes.
NOTE
If using two seeders of different widths, attach the wider
seeder to the front hitch, and use the cylinder attaching
holes specified for the wider seeder.
