4. Startup
The specimen clamps (standard or
universal cassette clamps) can also
be fastened directly to the specimen
holder fixture.
4.5 Direct mounting of the specimen clamp on the specimen holder fixture
• Attach the specimen clamp (12) to the speci-
men holder fixture as shown ( Fig. 9.3 ) and
fasten it using the two screws (17).
• To remove the dovetail guide (13) from the
specimen clamp (12), unscrew the two
screws (17) from the dovetail guide ( Fig. 9.2 ).
Again, use the Allen key No . 3.
• Then remove the dovetail receptacle (14)
from the specimen holder fixture ( Fig. 9.1 ).
To do so, loosen and unscrew the four
screws (16) using an Allen key No. 3 (18).
• Move the specimen holder fixture (10) to the
upper end position by turning the handwheel
and engage the handwheel lock.
