Note

The examples shown are only provided as an aid for your planning. You may need to
consider additional protection measures for your application.

Application with one SC300

If the necessary protective field dimensions can be realized using a single SC300, then
mount the camera on a corner of the frame or in a corner of the frame. Apply the
reflective tape to the opposite sides.

Application with two SC300

If the application requires a larger protective field width that can be covered with one
SC300, or the hazardous point is to be protected in an ergonomic manner, you can
mount two SC300 in parallel in opposite directions (see Figure 27) or at the corners (see
Figure 28). In this way you can realize two overlapping protective fields.

Notes

Mount the devices overlapping as shown in the figure (i.e. not back to back). Otherwise
un-monitored areas may be produced.
Ensure the housing markings on the two cameras are aligned.
You must synchronize the two SC300 with each other so that they do not interfere with
each other (see page 30).
