Interpret Error Codes

When the controller/interface module detects an error during the transfer of message data,
the controller sets the .ER bit and enters an error code that you can monitor from your
programming software.

Error Codes

Invalid internet address or host name

Cannot communicate with the name server

Connection not completed before user-specified timeout

Connection timed out by the network

Connection refused by destination host

Connection was broken

Reply not received before user-specified timeout

No network buffer space available

Message timed out in local controller

Controller is disconnected

Controller’s message buffer is full

No response (regardless of station type)

Control block formatted incorrectly
