Determine the location of the USER number byte based on the
following information.
The message control file is a variable length file with the following
layout:

The USER number always follows the Remote DST address in this
file.

Use the right cursor [ >] key to move to the word containing the
USER number byte. Enter the USER number (in hex) on the display
line, as well as the value for the other byte in the word, and press the
[ENTER] key. This changes the value in the specified word to
include the USER number.
Important: When you enter the value for the word containing the USER
byte, do not change the value of the other byte in the word.
