SCANport Status LED States
The LED furthest from the DeviceNet connector is the SCANport 
Status LED, and is labeled “SP.” It indicates the status of the 
SCANport connection, and functions as follows:

powered and that the product is connected to 
the adapter.

1. Check all SCANport cables and 
connections to the SCANport device.
2. Ensure datalinks are not enabled on a 
product that doesn’t support datalinks. Or, 
ensure that a particular datalink is not already 
being used by another adapter on the same 
SCANport device.
In either case, the adapter must be properly 
configured and power cycled after the problem 
is fixed.
