All models meet IEC 68-2-6 and IEC 68-2-27 testing criteria.

Application Notes

1. NPN OFF-state leakage current is < 200 μA for load impedances > 3kΩ or optically isolated loads.

For load current of 100 mA, leakage is < 1% of load current.

2. Do not mount the sensor directly perpendicular to shiny surfaces; position it at approximately a 15° angle in relation

to the sensing target (see page 8).

3. Minimize web or product “flutter” whenever possible to maximize sensing reliability.
